Altered Lampshade

My mom has been searching for a new lampshade for a bedroom that she is accenting with turquoise.  She found some really nice lampshades at a garage sale.  This weekend we decided to see what we could create on our own.  We love how it came out.  We've seen nothing like this in the stores and are so proud we created it! 
We had such fun and enjoyed being together.  Each step of the process, we grew more and more excited about how it was turning out.  We are inspired to create more even more.  Burlap is everywhere these days and we are definitely going to make something else with it.
